Blame the opressor, not the oppressed.

Well this isn’t at all one sided, inaccurate and bigoted.

Seeing your infant son as an oppressor, a rapist and the enemy. Where have I heard that before?

Rapists tend to have psychological problems, which can effect anyone. Treating boys like scum from the day they are born, seeing them as wild beasts who need to be tamed, can cause the very problems you were hoping to prevent. The parents can only do so much and are not always to blame somewhere down the line.

Women are in less objective danger than men. Yet we coddle them and wrap them in cotton wool and tell them the world is out to get them as though they are helpless and frightened little children. We let them get away with murder based on defences that would be laughable the other way around (such as my friend’s cousin who was hacked 20 times with an axe in the head while bound and gagged, the woman got off because she said it was “self defence”), we tell them they can beat a man if he says something they don’t like while saying they should be traumatised if they are ever slapped. Rather than teach girls they are weak and boys that they are evil, we should try to have the same rules for all.

This thing here, and others like it, is not equality, it’s just patronising and infantalising.
